What Makes Devonshire Outstanding

Proudly a Columbus City School, Devonshire Elementary School is located in the heart of the Devonshire neighborhood in north Columbus. Devonshire offers a unique perspective to education, offering six-grade levels (special needs preschool through fifth grade), with specialty programming (special education, English as a second language) and incorporating the Project Adventure restorative practices curriculum. Through its signature experience, Project Adventure, Devonshire teaches students to understand issues from multiple perspectives, volunteer in service to others and their community, build a diverse and global perspective, and translate classroom knowledge into real-world experiences.

Our vision is to cultivate an inclusive and nurturing environment where 100% of our learners achieve at least 50% stretch growth each year.
