Afterschool Programs

We climb our walls! Yes, Devonshire has an extensive Project Adventure methodology focus school wide. Our gymnasium serves as the focal point, where we do climb our walls, zip across the gym, and trapeze through the rafters. All fifth-grade students get to go to ZipZone to further their adventure education experiences in high ropes courses. All students, in all grade levels, experience initiatives and outdoor education through a partnership with Metroparks and Columbus's own Spruce Run Nature Center. Additionally, all 3rd - 5th grade students are able to attend an overnight camping trip with classmates and teachers. While our Pre-K through 2nd graders take on a day camp experience. Devonshire offers numerous extra-curricular experiences like field trips, Project Adventure Activities (High Ropes & Initiatives), debate club, chess club, Penny Harvest, the SEED Program, Girls on the Run, JA Biz Town, and Chase's ZooFari Science Program with the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
